Looking for Bono
Looking for Bono
A satire of the state of international aid, 'Looking for Bono' tells the story of the illiterate Baba living in Nigeria and trying to change his community. When Baba sees Bono on television raising awareness for the South African HIV crisis, he takes stock of the needs of his own community, and decides to find Bono so that Bono can convince the Nigerian president to bring water to the community. The ensuing media storm engulfs Baba, launching him into a world of celebrity, foreign aid, and competing interests.
