It explores re-entering sex work as a means to pursue a career as a writer, but destroying the only thing that has ever felt like home in the process.

About the author

Maedb Joy is a poet, theatre maker, writer and performer making political work across page, stage and screen, that often explores class, queerness and sexuality.

She is the founder of award winning performing arts company Sexquisite Events that platforms sex worker artists, and co-founder of national queer rave Riot Party.

She is a four time winner of the Sexual Freedom Awards (Writer of the Year, Event of the Year x2, and Podcast of the Year), a nominee for the Evening Standard Future Theatre Fund, and graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Court Playwriting Group.

At the time of publishing, she is developing a returning television series that is a feminist thriller, and producing a series of sex positive conversations through her podcast Body of Work.
